Role:
The Heat Press Operator plays a crucial role in garment production by preparing materials and skillfully operating and calibrating the machinery necessary for high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the heat press machine proficiently to manufacture garments according to specifications
- Upholding a consistent high standard of work, prioritizing meticulous attention to detail and precision
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area to ensure optimal efficiency
- Conducting quality checks before heat pressing in accordance with customer or graphics team samples
- Thoroughly inspecting garments to ensure they meet quality standards
- Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge, including sizes, colors, weights, brands, and the ability to interpret tech-packs accurately
Requirements:
- Demonstrated track record of working with a Heat Press Machine
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
- Capacity to interpret and comprehend intricate documents
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team
- Able to work long hours standing and walking
- Able to lift at least 50lbs and be comfortable bending, lifting and kneeling
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
